SciFlowTM 1000 is a technology for in vitro ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion) evaluations with the goal of improving the ability to predict the impact of compound exposures on human health.  SciFlow technology consists of an innovative, pump-less, microfluidic, tissue culture system used to evaluate the effects of compounds on primary or immortalized human and animal cell lines.  The SciFlow system is based on a standard 96-well format with the addition of fluidic pathways connecting up to 10 culture wells along a row of the plate.  This enables the evaluation of compounds on cells under dynamic conditions that are representative of the in vivo environment.  The SBS compliant 96-well footprint allows laboratories to utilize existing standard instrumentation and complements currently available assays for monitoring cellular outcomes.
